I thought Cookies were a security risk?
Cookies are not a security risk if they are used responsibly by web site designers. Cookies can be a risk if the web site you are visiting stores personal information in cookies (email address, credit card info, etc). WE DO NOT STORE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION IN THE COOKIES WE SEND TO YOU. In fact, we only use what are called 'session cookies'. These cookies expire immediately when you exit your web browser. All other information you give us about yourself is kept safely and securely on our database servers.

How to enable cookies in your browser:
Be sure to use the appropriate instructions for the correct version of your browser. To determine the browser version that you are using, pull down the "Help" menu at the top of the browser screen and select: "About Internet Explorer" or "About Communicator".

INTERNET EXPLORER NETSCAPE / OTHER
Internet Explorer 6.0 for Windows:
  1. Click 'Start' menu from Desktop and point to 'Settings'.
  2. Click 'Control Panel'.
  3. Click the 'Internet Options' icon.
  4. Select the 'Privacy' tab.
  5. Move the 'Privacy' settings slider to Medium-High.
  6. Click 'OK'.
  7. Close 'Control Panel'.
Internet Explorer 5.X and AOL 7.0/6.0/5.0 for Windows:
  1. Click 'Start' menu from Desktop and point to 'Settings'.
  2. Click 'Control Panel'.
  3. Click the 'Internet Options' icon.
  4. Select the 'Security' tab.
  5. Click the 'Internet' icon.
  6. Click 'Custom Level'.
  7. Scroll down until you see 'Cookies'.
  8. Select 'Enable' under 'Allow cookies that are stored on your computer'.
  9. Select 'Enable' under 'Allow per-session cookies (not stored)'.
  10. Click 'OK', and click 'OK' again.
  11. Close the 'Control Panel.'
Internet Explorer 4.X and AOL 4.0 for Windows:
  1. Click 'Start' menu from Desktop and point to 'Settings'.
  2. Click 'Control Panel'.
  3. Click the 'Internet' icon.
  4. Select the 'Advanced' tab.
  5. Scroll down until you see 'Cookies'.
  6. Select 'Always accept cookies'.
  7. Click 'Apply' and click 'OK'.
  8. Then close the 'Control Panel.'
Internet Explorer for Macintosh:
  1. Click the 'Edit' menu.
  2. Click 'Preferences'.
  3. On the left margin, click 'Cookies' under 'Receiving Files'.
  4. Next to 'When receiving cookies:', select 'Never Ask'.
  5. Click 'OK'.
Netscape 7.X:
  1. Click the 'Edit' menu.
  2. Click 'Preferences'.
  3. On the 'Categories' list, expand the 'Privacy & Security' options.
  4. In the 'Privacy & Security' list, click 'Cookies'.
  5. Select 'Enable cookies for the originating web site only'.
  6. Click OK.
Netscape 6.X:
  1. Click the 'Edit' menu.
  2. Click 'Preferences'.
  3. On the 'Categories' list, click 'Cookies' below the 'Advanced' option.
  4. Select 'Accept all cookies'.
  5. Click OK.
Netscape 4.X:
  1. Click the 'Edit' menu.
  2. Click 'Preferences'.
  3. On the 'Categories' list, click 'Advanced'.
  4. Select 'Accept all cookies'.
  5. Click OK.
AOL for Macintosh:
  1. Click the 'My AOL' menu.
  2. Click 'Preferences'.
  3. Click the 'WWW' icon.
  4. Click 'Advanced Settings'.
  5. On the left margin, click 'Cookies' under 'Receiving Files'.
  6. Next to 'When receiving cookies:', select 'Never Ask'.
  7. Click 'OK' and click 'OK' again.
